CLASSIC AWARDS
Classic Awards is an initiative by Exclusively Classic Events and Media Services. Exclusively Classic Events and Media Services is a registered business entity under the Registrar Generals Department of Ghana. We are a body aimed at organizing awards ceremony to honour and give recognition to the works of students and non-students (Public) in Ghana and beyond. Exclusively Classic Events and Media Services has two subsidiaries. The first subsidiary is aimed at honoring the works on students in Tertiary institution and the later subsidiary honors efforts of students in Senior High schools.
In March 2018, our first awards ceremony was held for students in the University of Professional Studies Accra (UPSA). Forty students were honored alongside non students. In total, forty-five awards were given. Special honors also were given out to Dr. Daniel Mckorley (honored for his impact in entrepreneurship) and Winifred Osei-Asante who was our main speaker. The ceremony was held at the Emmanuel Presbyterian Hall, Madina on 17th March, 2018.
In August 2018, a national awards ceremony was organized for all senior high school students. Fifteen students were honored during the awards ceremony and a special honor to Louis Kwame Sakyiamah (Host of Drive Time on Joy FM 99.7). The ceremony was held at the Osu Presbyterian Hall, Osu on 28th August, 2018
In March 2019, our second awards ceremony was held for students in the University of Professional Studies Accra (UPSA). Twenty-five students received awards alongside lecturers, HOD’s and non-students. Special honors also were given out to Mr. Selorm Adadevoh (CEO, MTN Ghana) and many others. The ceremony was held at the Emmanuel Presbyterian Hall, Madina on 16th March, 2019.
In April 2019, we enlarged our borders to the Ashanti Region. The event was held on 13th April and the venue was X5, Koofrom. We organized an awards ceremony (1st Edition) for the Institute of Business Management and Journalism. In all, twenty-three (23) students were awarded. Special honors also were given out to Alhaji Alidu Seidu (Municipal Chief Executive, Asokore Mampong), Dr. Joseph Akwasi Agyeman (Dean of Studenst, IBMJ) and Philip Forjour Owusu (Director, IBMJ)
On 16th August, 2019 at the Osu Presbyterian Hall, the second edition of the High School Awards was held. Twenty-Five (25) students were awarded at the ceremony. At the event, the Minister of Education Hon. Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh was also honored.
In March 2020, our third awards ceremony was held for students in the University of Professional Studies Accra (UPSA). Fifty (50) students received awards alongside lecturers, HOD’s and non-students. Special honors were given out to Kurt Simeon Edwin Okraku (President, Ghana Football Association) and many others.
Despite the global pandemic Coronavirus, the third edition of the National Classic High School Awards was held in December 2020 with strict adherence to all Covid-19 Protocols. Twenty-one students were awarded.
In July 2021, our fourth awards ceremony was held for students in the University of Professional Studies Accra (UPSA). Thirty-one (31) students received awards for their excellence in their various fields.

In July 2021, the maiden edition of our flagship event was organized for Accra Technical University. Over 50 students received awards. Special awards were given out to the Vice Chancellor, Pro-Vice Chancellor
Registrar, Finance officer, Academic Affairs, Chairman of the Governing Council, Director of Service, Dean of Students Affairs, Deputy Dean of Students, DIPIC, Security and Legal Affairs.
Our awards scheme seeks to motivate and encourage students and non-students to continue to work hard in diverse areas. We are aimed at building the profile of students and non-students and also to bring to light their numerous works. It is our goal that our honors will boost the morale of students and non-students and give them a good reputation.
Our award schemes are fair and transparent without any external influence. Whoever deserves to win an award will win.
